CSG’s Sustainability Programs Group has valuable experience in climate action planning and GHG emission reduction program development and implementation. We have extensive experience in green building program design and implementation, energy and water efficiency program development, grant writing/monitoring, and other sustainability program management services. With this valuable experience, CSG staff can effectively develop, implement, and manage your jurisdiction’s sustainability programs.

The Sustainability Programs Group can help your jurisdiction identify and apply for funding to pay for sustainability programs. Here are a few examples of our work:

	Qualified a client for a $900,000 low interest rate loan to replace its SCADA municipal water control system and inefficient water pumps. The loan was structured so that energy savings paid for the loan at no additional cost to the city.
	Wrote a climate action planning grant that funded the development of our municipal client’s Climate Action Plan, green building ordinance, and other energy efficiency and water conservation programs.
	Assisted several Bay Area cities in completion of their Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) applications to the California Energy Commission.
	Assisted a municipal client in acquiring $700,000 in grant funding for wildfire mitigation in its open space areas.

CSG provides continuous training for our CSG Sustainability Group to keep abreast of new or updated local and national regulations, codes, ordinances, and standards.
