CSG Consultant’s Building and Fire Life Safety Services Section has served California jurisdictions since 1991. We currently provide these services to over 70 municipalities in California; with additional clients as near and far reaching as Arizona, Mexico, and Sweden. Our clients include Cities, Counties, State, and Federal Agencies as well as Tribal Communities. We provide a wide range of services; from new construction to forensic investigation inspections, as well as on site inspector of record services. CSG is a solution oriented firm with experienced construction industry personnel.
Our staff range in experience from Engineers in Training to Building Officials, Fire Marshals and Senior Professional Plan Check Engineers. Each proposed staff member is supported by the expertise of the entire company in providing client services. CSG’s staff literally has access to over 100 experts at no additional cost to our clients. We also provide in house training to all staff.
We have knowledge and experience in designing, developing, and assessing programs, policies, procedures, and implementation of services. We have helped many jurisdictions in streamlining their permit process by implementing proven one stop shop services as well as cutting costs and developing better revenue streams through grant writing and enforcement strategies.
CSG has assisted jurisdictions in drafting and updating ordinances, amendments and code adoptions to help our clients properly adopt and implement local, state and federal regulations. We have assisted in the development of documents and reports to Jurisdictional Councils, Boards, and Commissions for litigation, outreach, discussion, or debate. Our reports represent a thorough understanding of the subject matter with an attention to detail and the ability to explain what the issues are in simple and concise terms.
